After two world wars, the end off the Ottoman Empire, and the sinking of the Titanic, the Chicago Cubs have still not won a world series. In fact, they have not even been to the World Series since 1945 – a full 71 years ago. That all changed last night as the Cubs beat the LA Dodgers in game six of the National League championship series, which advanced them to the World Series.
